Body piercing refers to the insertion of body jewelry into any part of the body that is typically enhanced by the addition of decorative jewelry. Body piercing, with the exception of earlobes, should never be done with a piercing gun. Piercing guns are designed to pierce earlobes only and nothing else. Its use on any other body part is a direct violation of the manufacturer's recommended use and can be dangerous to an individual. While many people think that piercing is not rocket science, there are proper proceedures to follow for a succesful piercing. Understanding these proceedures will help ensure a long-lasting and healthy piercing. There are a number of articles you can read. No appointment needed

Getting a piercing at Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC doesn't require an appointment, but I suggest calling ahead of time to make sure things aren't too crazy around here.

It helps to bring someone else along for moral support or to drive you in case you get light headed.

Make sure you have something to eat before coming in for your piercing.

Piercing is done on a "walk-in" basis. Studio hours are posted on the left and are subject to change and closings without notice. Always call ahead at (203) 924-2451 to make sure someone will be here to receive you.

Piercing Pricing

Our flat fee of $40 for most piercing includes jewelry. We offer price breaks on multiple piercings. Just check out our Piercing Price List and compare for yourself. For your convenience Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC accepts VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards and most debit cards. Checks are accepted only upon approval and returned checks will be charged an additional $30.00 bank service fee.

Tattoo Requirements

The following requirements need to be met before we can tattoo you. Please make sure you comply with all of these in order to save time and avoid misunderstandings.

Age Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years of age to get a tattoo on your own.
• An emancipated person under 18 years of age must provide a copy of their court papers.
• A parent or legal guardian must sign a consent for anyone 16 or 17 years of age. Legal guardians must provide a copy of their court papers.
• Absolutely no tattooing of private areas can be done on an unemancipated person under 18 years of age.

ID Requirements

• A valid photo ID must be presented at time of tattooing.
  Suitable photo ID's must have the following:
  1. name
  2. date of birth
  3. current photo
• A state issued driver's license, state photo ID or valid passport are considered suitable forms of identification.
• School issued photo ID's are acceptable as long as they meet the above three criteria.
• Secondary documents will be needed if your photo ID does not link your name or date of birth to the photo. They include birth certificates, driving permits or other documents containing your name and date of birth.
• Anyone under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian present and they must provide a valid photo ID.

Deth, aka Jeannine, is our female artist and piercer at Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC. Jeannine has a strong sense of style and sensibility with a slant towards the macabre and quirky. From zombies to cupcakes, our Lady Deth will give you a unique experience.
