Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC offers gift certificates in the form of a GiftCard similar to those available at large retail centers.

These GiftCards are an easy way to give or save money towards a tattoo or piercing. The GiftCards are convenient credit card-sized plastic gift certificates redeemable towards any in-store merchandise or towards a tattoo or piercing service.

Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC GiftCards can be activated with a minimum of $5.00 and can hold up to a maximum of $500.00. Additional value can be added at any time (see below for card use information).

To activate a GiftCard

To receive and activate an Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC GiftCard simply come into the studio and request a GiftCard. It will be activated with any gift amount, up to a total of $500.00, to the activated card.

Activated cards will be recorded with your name (or the name of the card recipient if it is a gift) in our store log. This record will be used in the event a card gets stolen (see below for more information).

Transfering ownership of a GiftCard

An Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC GiftCard is transferable and can be redeemed for the value of the card by the bearer of the card. This means anyone in possession of a card can use it. Unless a card is reported stolen, it will be assumed that the bearer of the card has the right to use that card. To avoid problems in the future, if you give a card away call the studio and we will update our records to reflect the transfer of ownership of the card.

To add value to a GiftCard

Adding to an Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC GiftCard is just as simple and can be done in two ways;

1. Bring your GiftCard in to Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC. You can then purchase any additional amount by cash or credit card.
2. Call in your GiftCard number to the studio at (203) 924-2451 during work hours and purchase any additional amount by credit card.

To obtain a GiftCard's balance

To obtain the balance on your Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC GiftCard, visit www.giftlynk.com and click on the Check GiftLynk Balance link. Enter the 16 digit card number on the back of your GiftCard (no spaces). Your card's activation date and current balance will be displayed.

You can also check your GiftCard's balance by calling 1-800-803-1222 and entering your card number.

GiftCard limitations

Your Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC GiftCard can be used for purchases at the studio. The card is not redeemable for cash, and lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. At our option, the GiftCard expires 12 months after the date purchased, except where prohibited. After 12 months of non-use, a service fee of $2.00 per month will be deducted from the card balance.

In case of lost or stolen cards

As stated above, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC can not be held responsible if a card is lost. However, all cards are logged in at the store with the name of the person the card was issued to.

If you feel your card has been stolen, call Excalibur Tattoo & Design, LLC at (203) 924-2451 to report the theft. The card will then be flagged as a stolen card. Should someone try to use the stolen card, the card will be confiscated and you will be notified of its recovery. Any criminal charges against the person in possession of the stolen card will be up to the original owner of the card.
